Snake River Falls is a block waterfall in Nebraska.
Its water comes from Snake River. It lies in Cherry, Nebraska. The site is on public land managed by Private (Snake Falls Sportsmen's Club, public access for a fee).
This is a short hike waterfall: reached by a short trail, generally under about a mile each way. The nearest town is Valentine.
When to go: Spring through fall. Like most waterfalls, Snake River Falls runs highest after snowmelt or heavy rain and can thin out in late summer, so it's worth checking recent streamflow and the land manager's conditions page before a long drive.
