Berry Falls is a low block waterfall in Nebraska at 8 ft, but often a rewarding stop.

The falls are fed by spring-fed tributary of the Niobrara River. You'll find it in Cherry, Nebraska. It is protected within National Park Service (Niobrara National Scenic River); falls on private land.

This is a roadside waterfall: visible from a road, parking area, or a walk of a few hundred feet. Base a visit out of Valentine, the closest town.

When to go: Spring through fall. Like most waterfalls, Berry Falls runs highest after snowmelt or heavy rain and can thin out in late summer, so it's worth checking recent streamflow and the land manager's conditions page before a long drive.
