Lost Creek Falls is a lesser-known waterfall in Provo Canyon, reached by an easy-to-moderate out-and-back of about 2 miles with roughly 800 feet of gain from a trailhead just off Highway 189, across the canyon from Bridal Veil Falls. It is often overlooked in favor of its more famous neighbor.

This is a short hike waterfall: reached by a short trail, generally under about a mile each way. The walk in is brief — comfortable shoes are usually all you need. The walk to the main viewpoint runs about 2 miles round trip. The nearest town is Provo.
When to go: Spring to fall (Apr-Oct). Flow usually peaks after snowmelt and heavy rain and tapers through late summer — a quick look at recent streamflow and the managing agency's conditions page can save a wasted trip.
