Donut Falls is a modest but scenic punchbowl waterfall in Utah, falling 30 ft.

Donut Falls sits on Mill D South Fork (Big Cottonwood Creek drainage). You'll find it in Salt Lake, Utah. It is protected within Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest (USFS).

This is a short hike waterfall: reached by a short trail, generally under about a mile each way. The walk to the main viewpoint runs about 3.4 miles round trip. Base a visit out of Salt Lake City, the closest town.

When to go: Summer (June-September). Like most waterfalls, Donut Falls runs highest after snowmelt or heavy rain and can thin out in late summer, so it's worth checking recent streamflow and the land manager's conditions page before a long drive.
