Punch Bowl Falls is a smaller punchbowl waterfall in Oregon, with a drop of about 33 ft.
Its water comes from Eagle Creek. It lies in Hood River, Oregon. The site is on public land managed by Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area (USFS).
This is a moderate hike waterfall: a longer day hike, roughly one to several miles each way. The walk to the main viewpoint runs about 4.2 miles round trip. The nearest town is Cascade Locks.
When to go: Spring through fall; Northwest Forest Pass required. Like most waterfalls, Punch Bowl Falls runs highest after snowmelt or heavy rain and can thin out in late summer, so it's worth checking recent streamflow and the land manager's conditions page before a long drive.
