Proxy Falls is a tall horsetail waterfall in Oregon, dropping 226 ft (69 m).

Proxy Falls sits on Proxy Creek. You'll find it in Lane, Oregon. It is protected within USDA Forest Service (Willamette National Forest, Three Sisters Wilderness).

This is a short hike waterfall: reached by a short trail, generally under about a mile each way. The walk to the main viewpoint runs about 1.6 miles round trip. Base a visit out of McKenzie Bridge, the closest town.

When to go: Late spring through fall (Hwy 242 closed in winter). Like most waterfalls, Proxy Falls runs highest after snowmelt or heavy rain and can thin out in late summer, so it's worth checking recent streamflow and the land manager's conditions page before a long drive.
