Bald River Falls is a cascade waterfall in Tennessee with a documented drop of 90 ft (27 m).
The falls are fed by Bald River. It lies in Monroe County, Tennessee. The site is on public land managed by USFS (Cherokee National Forest).
This is a roadside waterfall: visible from a road, parking area, or a walk of a few hundred feet. The nearest town is Tellico Plains.
When to go: Winter and spring. Like most waterfalls, Bald River Falls runs highest after snowmelt or heavy rain and can thin out in late summer, so it's worth checking recent streamflow and the land manager's conditions page before a long drive.
