Twin Falls drops 80 ft (24 m) as a horsetail waterfall in Tennessee.
Its water comes from Caney Fork River (gorge-wall seepage from Collins River). It lies in White, Tennessee. The site is on public land managed by Tennessee State Parks (Rock Island State Park).
This is a short hike waterfall: reached by a short trail, generally under about a mile each way. The walk to the main viewpoint runs about 1.55 miles round trip. The nearest town is Rock Island.
When to go: Spring; depends on dam releases and groundwater. Like most waterfalls, Twin Falls runs highest after snowmelt or heavy rain and can thin out in late summer, so it's worth checking recent streamflow and the land manager's conditions page before a long drive.
