Station Cove Falls is an approximately 60-foot stepped waterfall on Station Creek in the Sumter National Forest, accessed from Oconee Station State Historic Site in Oconee County. The easy trail passes through an Appalachian cove forest noted for spring wildflowers.

Its 60 ft drop is taller than about 48% of the 775 waterfalls we track.

Its water comes from Station Creek. It lies in Oconee, South Carolina. The site is on public land managed by Sumter National Forest (USFS) / Oconee Station State Historic Site.

This is a short hike waterfall: reached by a short trail, generally under about a mile each way. The walk in is brief — comfortable shoes are usually all you need. The walk to the main viewpoint runs about 1.7 miles round trip. The nearest town is Walhalla.

When to go: Spring wildflower season (Mar-Apr). Flow usually peaks after snowmelt and heavy rain and tapers through late summer — a quick look at recent streamflow and the managing agency's conditions page can save a wasted trip.
