Sea Creek Falls is an approximately 30-foot multi-tier cascade in the Cooper Creek area of the Chattahoochee National Forest in Fannin County, reached by a short unofficial trail from Forest Service Road 264. The water slides over a series of boulders into a pool at the base.
Its 30 ft drop is taller than about 24% of the 775 waterfalls we track.
The falls are fed by Sea Creek. It lies in Fannin, Georgia. The site is on public land managed by Chattahoochee National Forest (USFS) - Cooper Creek WMA.
This is a short hike waterfall: reached by a short trail, generally under about a mile each way. The walk in is brief — comfortable shoes are usually all you need. The walk to the main viewpoint runs about 0.5 miles round trip. The nearest town is Suches.
When to go: Spring (Mar-May). Flow usually peaks after snowmelt and heavy rain and tapers through late summer — a quick look at recent streamflow and the managing agency's conditions page can save a wasted trip.
