Dry Falls is a plunge waterfall in North Carolina with a documented drop of 75 ft (23 m).

The falls are fed by Cullasaja River. It lies in Macon, North Carolina. The site is on public land managed by Nantahala National Forest (USFS).

This is a short hike waterfall: reached by a short trail, generally under about a mile each way. The walk to the main viewpoint runs about 0.2 miles round trip. The nearest town is Highlands.

When to go: Spring and after heavy rain (Mar-Jun). Like most waterfalls, Dry Falls runs highest after snowmelt or heavy rain and can thin out in late summer, so it's worth checking recent streamflow and the land manager's conditions page before a long drive.
