Chalk Ridge Falls is a small spring- and seep-fed waterfall in Chalk Ridge Falls Park on the Lampasas River below Stillhouse Hollow Dam near Belton, Texas. The park's trail system (around 2.5 miles of out-and-back hiking, with side trails) crosses the river on a suspension/rope footbridge.

Its water comes from Lampasas River below Stillhouse Hollow Dam. You'll find it in Bell, Texas. It is protected within U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Stillhouse Hollow Lake).

This is a short hike waterfall: reached by a short trail, generally under about a mile each way. A short walk gets you to the viewpoint, so it works for most casual visitors and families. The walk to the main viewpoint runs about 2.5 miles round trip. Base a visit out of Belton, the closest town.

When to go: Spring; flows depend on rain and dam releases. Like most waterfalls, Chalk Ridge Falls runs highest after snowmelt or heavy rain and can thin out in late summer, so it's worth checking recent streamflow and the land manager's conditions page before a long drive.
