Madrid Falls is a tiered waterfall in Texas with a documented drop of 100 ft (30 m).

The falls are fed by Madrid Falls drainage (spring-fed). You'll find it in Presidio County, Texas. It is protected within Big Bend Ranch State Park (Texas Parks & Wildlife).

This is a backcountry waterfall: a remote, long, or permit-required trek for prepared visitors. The walk to the main viewpoint runs about 4 miles round trip. Base a visit out of Study Butte, the closest town.

When to go: Spring (best flow); spring-fed. Like most waterfalls, Madrid Falls runs highest after snowmelt or heavy rain and can thin out in late summer, so it's worth checking recent streamflow and the land manager's conditions page before a long drive.
