Tecumseh Falls drops about 10 feet over an overhanging ledge on Big Run in Holly River State Park, the second-largest park in West Virginia's state park system. It is the most accessible of the park's falls, viewable from an easy round-trip hike of roughly 2.2 miles (or via the longer Reverie Loop).

At 10 ft, it stands above roughly 3% of the 775 documented falls in this guide.

Its water comes from Big Run (Laurel Fork of Holly River). You'll find it in Webster, West Virginia. It is protected within West Virginia State Parks (Holly River State Park).

This is a short hike waterfall: reached by a short trail, generally under about a mile each way. A short walk gets you to the viewpoint, so it works for most casual visitors and families. The walk to the main viewpoint runs about 2.2 miles round trip. Base a visit out of Hacker Valley, the closest town.

When to go: spring. Like most waterfalls, Tecumseh Falls runs highest after snowmelt or heavy rain and can thin out in late summer, so it's worth checking recent streamflow and the land manager's conditions page before a long drive.
