Cathedral Falls drops 60 ft (18 m) as a cascade waterfall in West Virginia.

Its water comes from Cane Branch. You'll find it in Fayette, West Virginia. It is protected within State of West Virginia (roadside park).

This is a roadside waterfall: visible from a road, parking area, or a walk of a few hundred feet. Base a visit out of Gauley Bridge, the closest town.

When to go: Spring. Like most waterfalls, Cathedral Falls runs highest after snowmelt or heavy rain and can thin out in late summer, so it's worth checking recent streamflow and the land manager's conditions page before a long drive.
