Rodney Falls drops roughly 80 feet in two main steps on Hardy Creek, the upper of which pours into the Pool of the Winds, a chamber where water blasts through a hollow rock opening. It sits along the Hamilton Mountain Trail in Beacon Rock State Park, about 3.5 miles round trip.

Its 80 ft drop is taller than about 63% of the 775 waterfalls we track.

The falls are fed by Hardy Creek. It lies in Skamania, Washington. The site is on public land managed by Beacon Rock State Park (Washington State Parks).

This is a moderate hike waterfall: a longer day hike, roughly one to several miles each way. Reaching it takes a moderate walk, so budget time and pack water before you set out. The walk to the main viewpoint runs about 3.5 miles round trip. The nearest town is Stevenson.

When to go: Spring (peak flow) through fall. Water volume swings with the seasons here, strongest after snowmelt or rain and lowest in late summer, so check recent streamflow before you go.
