At 367 ft, Wallace Falls (Middle Falls) is one of the taller waterfalls in Washington — a tiered waterfall worth seeking out.

The falls are fed by Wallace River. It lies in Snohomish, Washington. The site is on public land managed by Washington State Parks (Wallace Falls State Park).

This is a moderate hike waterfall: a longer day hike, roughly one to several miles each way. The walk to the main viewpoint runs about 5.6 miles round trip. The nearest town is Gold Bar.

When to go: Year-round (best flow spring). Like most waterfalls, Wallace Falls (Middle Falls) runs highest after snowmelt or heavy rain and can thin out in late summer, so it's worth checking recent streamflow and the land manager's conditions page before a long drive.
