Narada Falls drops 188 feet in two tiers (about 168 feet and 20 feet) on the Paradise River, where the Mount Rainier Highway crosses between the two drops. At 188 feet it is the tallest waterfall in the park reachable by car, viewed from a short, steep 0.2-mile trail below the bridge.
At 188 ft, it stands above roughly 86% of the 775 documented falls in this guide.
The falls are fed by Paradise River. You'll find it in Pierce, Washington. It is protected within Mount Rainier National Park (NPS).
This is a short hike waterfall: reached by a short trail, generally under about a mile each way. A short walk gets you to the viewpoint, so it works for most casual visitors and families. The walk to the main viewpoint runs about 0.4 miles round trip. Base a visit out of Ashford, the closest town.
When to go: Late spring to early summer (snowmelt). Like most waterfalls, Narada Falls runs highest after snowmelt or heavy rain and can thin out in late summer, so it's worth checking recent streamflow and the land manager's conditions page before a long drive.
