Myrtle Falls drops 72 ft (22 m) as a horsetail waterfall in Washington.
The falls are fed by Edith Creek. You'll find it in Pierce, Washington. It is protected within National Park Service (Mount Rainier National Park).
This is a short hike waterfall: reached by a short trail, generally under about a mile each way. The walk to the main viewpoint runs about 0.8 miles round trip. Base a visit out of Ashford, the closest town.
When to go: Mid-July through September (snow-free). Like most waterfalls, Myrtle Falls runs highest after snowmelt or heavy rain and can thin out in late summer, so it's worth checking recent streamflow and the land manager's conditions page before a long drive.
