Koosah Falls is a roughly 64-to-74-foot block waterfall on the McKenzie River, the second of three major falls along that stretch in the Willamette National Forest. An easy family loop trail connects it with nearby Sahalie Falls.

Its 64 ft drop is taller than about 49% of the 775 waterfalls we track.

Koosah Falls sits on McKenzie River. It lies in Linn, Oregon. The site is on public land managed by US Forest Service (Willamette National Forest).

This is a short hike waterfall: reached by a short trail, generally under about a mile each way. The walk in is brief — comfortable shoes are usually all you need. The walk to the main viewpoint runs about 2.6 miles round trip. The nearest town is McKenzie Bridge.

When to go: Spring. Flow usually peaks after snowmelt and heavy rain and tapers through late summer — a quick look at recent streamflow and the managing agency's conditions page can save a wasted trip.
