Small seepage waterfalls tumble down a deeply eroded ravine that funnels water into the Eichelberger Sink and Lake Alfred at Hidden Waters Preserve near Eustis. The Ravine Trail is a roughly 0.4-mile loop with about 40 ft of elevation change; the cascades flow during the rainy season.
The falls are fed by Seepage stream feeding Lake Alfred (Eichelberger Sink). It lies in Lake, Florida. The site is on public land managed by Lake County Water Authority (Hidden Waters Preserve).
This is a short hike waterfall: reached by a short trail, generally under about a mile each way. The walk in is brief — comfortable shoes are usually all you need. The walk to the main viewpoint runs about 0.4 miles round trip. The nearest town is Eustis.
When to go: Summer rainy season. Water volume swings with the seasons here, strongest after snowmelt or rain and lowest in late summer, so check recent streamflow before you go.
