Flat Lick Falls is a smaller plunge waterfall in Kentucky, with a drop of about 33 ft.

The falls are fed by Laurel Fork Creek. You'll find it in Jackson County, Kentucky. It is protected within Jackson County / local recreational area.

This is a short hike waterfall: reached by a short trail, generally under about a mile each way. The walk to the main viewpoint runs about 1 miles round trip. Base a visit out of Gray Hawk, the closest town.

When to go: Winter and spring. Like most waterfalls, Flat Lick Falls runs highest after snowmelt or heavy rain and can thin out in late summer, so it's worth checking recent streamflow and the land manager's conditions page before a long drive.
