Courthouse Falls is a roughly 45-foot plunge on Courthouse Creek that drops into a deep emerald pool inside a rock-walled cove in Pisgah National Forest. It is reached via a short but steep trail off the Summey Cove Trail near Balsam Grove.

Its 45 ft drop is taller than about 35% of the 775 waterfalls we track.

The falls are fed by Courthouse Creek. It lies in Transylvania, North Carolina. The site is on public land managed by Pisgah National Forest (USFS).

This is a short hike waterfall: reached by a short trail, generally under about a mile each way. The walk in is brief — comfortable shoes are usually all you need. The walk to the main viewpoint runs about 1.9 miles round trip. The nearest town is Balsam Grove.
